For Open Water Diver candidate Eastdive offers a pick-up service departing from Shinjuku station (West Exit). Approximately 3 hours through highway to reach Izu Peninsula major dive sites. Consult us for our dive tour schedule!

Open Water Diver course requires a total of 4 days you can split at your discretion. Theory takes place on 2 days in classroom (course introduction, reviews and DVD video), 1 day for the Pool session where you can learn basic skills and 2 days at sea to confirm your skills at sea, usually over a full weekend.
Theory: how long does it take?
Students acquire theory by to self-studying and need to fill up Knowledge Reviews at the end of each manual chapter. Students and Instructor will review answers during the class session. Prior to diving a confirmation quiz will be administered. Students usually take about a week to read the book and complete Knowledge Reviews.

You can also complete the theory portion at your own pace through PADI eLearning. Simply click to the link “Start today online” below and sign-up for a new PADI On-Line account. You will pay online $130 to PADI USA and complete the theory portion of the course.

I received my PADI open water diving certificate from East Dive.
It was easy, convenient, and can be done in just a few sessions.There are two academic classes where I learned the ins and outs of scuba diving.
Next, is the pool dive. This is a practice with scuba equipment and instruction.
Finally, I scuba dived on the Izu penninsula. I met at Shinjuku station and took a few hour drive with movies and time to rest. When I arrived, I was able to use the nice facility including: showers, bathroom, and changing room.I did one dive in the morning, where I saw all types of beautiful fish. Then we ate a great lunch and met some new friends.
After we ate lunch, it was time to go on our second dive, which was even better than the first.
I had such a wonderful experience. The East Dive instructors made sure I was comfortable the whole time and fully understood everything about my scuba trip.
They also gave me individual attention, which helped me learn everything faster. I would highly reccommend East Dive to any one. They are extremely professional and good at what they do!
Now that I have my Open Water Diver Scuba Diving license, I can scuba dive all over the world. It gives my friends and me opportunities to see all types of new fish and marine life when we are traveling.
This course only needs to be done once for a life time license so I do not have to worry about renewal.

Hereunder,the condition for the PADI Courses Anyone over age 15(over age 10for Jr,Scuba Diver License) and healthy can apply for this course, Excessive over-weight and bad health condition are something you have to avoid to enjoy the safe diving. Diving requires acceptable level of conditions in certain areas. For example, heart disorder,flue,stuffed-nose,epilepsy,asthma,and for those who have serioushealth problems. under the influence of alcohol,on madication,please consult with your doctor and instructor befare you decide to dive with us.You will fill in the application form when you apply at the course site, *Anyone under age 20 will need a parent's signature on the application form, Please ask us for more information in advance, And also, should there be anything you concem about those above mentioned health problems,please ask us for the PADI Medical Record and Certificate.*in case you have any applicable items on the application form in respect to your past medical record and current health conditions, you have to see your doctor and submit the PADI Medical Record and Certificate, or you cannot join our course.in addition,for those who are pregnant,we fequire your signature on each appointed documents PADI Safe Diving Standard Guideline Understanding Statements.
PADI Negligence Agreements,and PADI Medical Record and Certificate.We have our own company doctor for any medical question, so please feel free to consult with us anytime.Anyone who has C-Card(certification caed of any organization) can apply for this course. Local Diving is the under-water tour for fun for C-Card certified divers. your health conditions have to be good to enjoy Local Diving.For those who have health problems and/or over age 45,please consult with your doctor and instructor before you decide to dive with us, in that case, we repuire you to submit the PADI Medical Record and Certficate,Please ask us for more infoemation in advance. you will fill in and sign on the standard Guided Tour at the dive site.*anyone under age 20 will need a parent's signature on the application form. in addition, your C-Card(of any organization) and Log Book (or similar to prove experience) should bu presented.Diving Itineray and ScheduleAll of our diving courses,in japan at izu areas.will follow the itinerary on the respective web page accordingly. Pick-up service to/from meeting point(Shinjuku,st) it is not refundable in case there is any change on the itinerary and schedule caused out of our responsibility. The cases in the nature of this are e,g,bad health condition of yours,being late for the meeting time, lack of the necessary documents,when judged you do not have sufficient diving knowledge and skills,traffic condition to the dive site, natural disaster,weather condition,in case the water condition are too bad to continue the License Course, we will issue the PADI Student Certificate up to the point you finish,and you can continue the rest of the course within 1 year from the date issued. it is free to take a course at the same location, but you will have to pay additional fee to do it at the different location, in case the water condition are too bad to continue a paet or whole of the Fun Diving, we will refund in cash according to our Regulations, And ,we equipment fee,tour fee, event fee, boat fee, etc, For the diving in japan, in case we judge to cancel it because of the bad weather condition,we will give a notice at latest a day before, and will refund the diving fee. As in the License Course, PADI Temporary Card will be issued by your instructor on the same day when you successfully complete the whole sessions, The Offical PADI Certificate(C-Card)will be sent to you later from the PADI Area Office. Things you need for the license application are 2 of your face photos (must be color) the siza of 3cm-4cm for japan use Either way, group photos are not acceptable. please refer the price list on the web page accordingly. We do not carry any sort of specil rental equipment such as diving masks with lens and non-standard wetsuits, For those who have weak sight and/ or large siza (over 185cm tall, 90kg weight,28cm foot-siza), please let us know in advance as you can purchase those reasonably.
Cancellation after sudmitting your application form will be charged as follows: 1,From 30until 5 days before the tour day - 20% out of the whole tour fee. 2,From 4 days before until the tour day - 100% out of the whole tour fee.*Bank transfer fee will be on your own responsibility,Thank you for your understanding in advance.
