IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Experience the next exciting stage of diving!

Welcome to The Advanced Open Water Diving program. the first step beyond Open water Diver certification. Program offers different experience and training options that range from simple introductions to underwater activities to more challenging experiences, The Advanced Open water Diver certification you'll complete the Underwater Navigation and Deep Adventure Dives and three other Adventure Dives that decide our Dive Shop Recommendation.
画像
You will in Izu Peninsula for 2 days of ocean training. You'll do 2-3 dives on each day (5 dives total).

Students can learn to dive in the beautiful underwater environment of the Izu peninsula, which offer various kinds of coral, tropical fish and underwater critters. With Japan's warm climate, diving can be enjoyed all year round. In the summer, the water temperature is 26 degrees celsius (78.8°F) and in the winter the lowest water temperature is 14 degrees (57.2°F).  Izu Peninsula is one of Japan's major dive sites. Please consult with us if you prefer separate day trips!  Students can request both pool lessons and ocean training dives on the days. Would you like a weekend trip or a weekday trip?
We can customize the course to fit your schedule.
画像
When you finish the Advanced Open Water Diver Course, East Dive and PADI will email you a Digital Certification.

This contains your photo, ID number and any other important information you'll need to show that you're a certified diver. This means that you'll be ready to go diving the very next day!
Additionally, you will be issued a Gold Certification Card. It takes approximately 7 to10 days for this to arrive from the PADI office to your home.
You don't need to fill out any forms in order to process your certificate, we'll take care of everything. .  As a 5 Star ID Center, here at East Dive we're licensed to carry out diving courses all the way from Beginner to the Instructor Development Course. We were awarded this status back in November of 2006.
TRY DRYSUIT DIVING THIS WINTER AND SPRING

While Izu Peninsula offers warm underwater temperatures of around 26℃ during the summer and autumn months, during winter and spring the temperature drops to around 15-19℃. With the lower temperatures also comes the best visibility of the year. We recommend the cooler season for divers or underwater photographers who are looking for the best chance to view the spectacular dive site scenery and wildlife.
Dry suit diving isn't limited to just experience divers. Even if you have never dived before, our staff has extensive experience guiding beginners and PADI Open Water Course participants in how to use a dry suit. We'll make sure you're properly fitted and confident using it, so that you can comfortably enjoy diving all year round.

Ocean Facilities (Izu peninsula)

The open water section of the course will take place at Futo in East Izu Peninsula or Koganezaki in West Izu Peninsula, the calm water and underwater landscape make it the perfect location for beginners to practice their diving skills. The depth ranges from 8m to 30m, so you will have plenty of space to practice.  Outside facilities include: a break room, rest rooms, heated showers, baths, a microwave, hot water, a refrigerator and a vending machine.
Underwater training dives

This popular site is our recommendation for the best diving on the Izu Peninsula. These are two dive sites in Futo and Koganezaki, which are both located in the perfect for beginners training dives. From the shore dive point, even beginners can enjoy diving here. You can see a wide range of tropic fish in these waters in to the beautiful underwater, which migrate to the cover every year.
Who should take this course?

PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old are ready to step up and enroll in an Advanced Open Water Diver course. Young divers may only participate in certain Adventure Dives. If you’re already an Adventure Diver, you only need to complete two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

What will you learn?

You’ll plan your learning path with our staff by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you can choose the other three, for a total of five dives.

During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, dry suit diving in colder temperatures, and many more.

How can you start learning ?

Study at your own pace through an easy to use, interactive program. You will also have access to an online version of the Adventure Dives manual and can complete sections for other Adventure Dives as directed by our dive shop. You can also choose to read the Adventure in Dives manual (included in the course). Get your materials and start learning. Our PADI Instructor will meet with you to schedule knowledge review sessions along with your Adventure Dives.

Deep Dive

As a new Open Water Diver 18 meters/60 feet marks the depth limit to which you're qualified to dive. This limit isn't arbitrary; it's based on no-decompression limits, nitrogen narcosis and air supply. However, even if you've only made a few dives before, you may be curious about deeper dives. Perhaps simply to visit specific dive sites below 18 meters/60 feet. The Deep Adventure Dive will satisfy some of this curiosity and give you access by qualifying you to dive as deep as 30 meters/100 feet (in conditions which are good as or better than those in which you have training and experience).

Underwater Navigation

Remember your first open water dive? Underwater Navigation is an important diving fundamental that, as you discovered on your subsequent dives, you learn and apply easily through a few principles and practice. The Navigation dive in the Adventures in Diving program takes the rudimentary skills you've picked up and expands them so you can use them with greater accuracy and under wider circumstances.
